A YEAR IN PRAYER    "Using God's Word to pray"

Have you given in to the perversion of today’s generation and are you partaking in its impure and ungodly deeds?

Do you filter the impurity of this world to protect your mind and your heart?

Do you keep your mind pure and your heart clean before God?

DAY # 296

TODAY’S REQUEST:

PRAYING FOR PURITY OF MIND

Proverbs 22:11 He who loves purity of heart And has grace on his lips, The king will be his friend.
Psalms 24:3-5 Who may ascend into the hill of the LORD? Or who may stand in His holy place? 4 He who has clean hands and a pure heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, Nor sworn deceitfully. 5 He shall receive blessing from the LORD, And righteousness from the God of his salvation.
Proverbs 20:9 Who can say, "I have made my heart clean, I am pure from my sin"?
Proverbs 21:8 The way of a guilty man is perverse; But as for the pure, his work is right.
James 4:8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
Titus 1:15 To the pure all things are pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but even their mind and conscience are defiled.

HOW DO THE SCRIPTURES TELL US TO EXPRESS THIS REQUEST?

WITH TOTAL TRANSPARENCY AND IN TRUTH

Matthew 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see God.
Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.
1 Timothy 1:5 Now the purpose of the commandment is love from a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from sincere faith,
1 John 3:1-10 Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. 2 Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. 3 And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure. 4 Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness. 5 And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin. 6 Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him. 7 Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. 8 He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. 9 Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God. 10 In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother.
