A YEAR IN PRAYER    "Using God's Word to pray"

Do you now think that you know more than He who gave you knowledge?

Do you seek wisdom and understanding from the Word or the world?

Do your church leaders and church doctrines influence your understanding of God more than does the Bible?

DAY # 292

TODAY’S REQUEST:

PRAYING THAT WE DO NOT LEAN ON OUR OWN UNDERSTANDING

Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding;
Exodus 3:1 Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying: 2 "See, I have called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah. 3 "And I have filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship,
1 Kings 3:11 Then God said to him: "Because you have asked this thing, and have not asked long life for yourself, nor have asked riches for yourself, nor have asked the life of your enemies, but have asked for yourself understanding to discern justice,
1 Kings 3:12 "behold, I have done according to your words; see, I have given you a wise and understanding heart, so that there has not been anyone like you before you, nor shall any like you arise after you.
Job 38:36 Who has put wisdom in the mind? Or who has given understanding to the heart?
Proverbs 26:12 Do you see a man wise in his own eyes? There is more hope for a fool than for him.
Proverbs 26:16 The lazy man is wiser in his own eyes Than seven men who can answer sensibly.
Proverbs 28:11 The rich man is wise in his own eyes, But the poor who has understanding searches him out.
