A YEAR IN PRAYER    "Using God's Word to pray"

Do you really have faith in God, and is it confirmed by your obedience to His Word?

Is the “faith” of your prayer all about the formula applied and the method used, or does it stand on trusting God?

Is your faith growing daily by hearing the Word of God and learning His truth?

Do you approach God using tactics from other religions “just in case” they work as well?

DAY # 32

TODAY’S REQUEST:

PRAYING FOR FAITH IN GOD:

FAITH IS NECESSARY IN PRAYER

Luke 12:28 "If then God so clothes the grass, which today is in the field and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, how much more will He clothe you, O you of little faith?

Luke 17:5 And the apostles said to the Lord, "Increase our faith." 6 So the Lord said, "If you have faith as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be pulled up by the roots and be planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you.

Luke 17:19 And He said to him, "Arise, go your way. Your faith has made you well."

Luke 18:8 "I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?"

Luke 22:32 "But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren."

Acts 3:16 "And His name, through faith in His name, has made this man strong, whom you see and know. Yes, the faith which comes through Him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.

James 5:15 And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.

HOW DO THE SCRIPTURES TELL US TO EXPRESS THIS REQUEST?

HEARING AND BELIEVING THE WORD OF CHRIST

Matthew 21:22 "And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive."

Colossians 4:2 Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving;

2 Corinthians 5:7 For we walk by faith, not by sight.

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

James 1:6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.

James 5:15 And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
