A YEAR IN PRAYER    "Using God's Word to pray"

Do you wait on God to fulfill your prayers in accordance with His will and perfect timing, or use ruse, lies and deceit to get things supposedly in His name?

Does walking by faith mean that you deserve to get whatever you need, want, or desire?

Can a person walk by faith if the foundation of that faith is not Christ Jesus, the Son of God?

DAY # 277

TODAY’S REQUEST:

TO WALK BY FAITH AND NOT BY SIGHT

Romans 1:17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, "The just shall live by faith."
Romans 5:1 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
Hebrews 11:3 By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible. 4 By faith Abel offered to God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, through which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts; and through it he being dead still speaks.
John 20:29 Jesus said to him, "Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."

HOW DO THE SCRIPTURES TELL US TO EXPRESS THIS REQUEST?

WITH OUR EYES ON CHRIST

2 Corinthians 5:5-12 Now He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who also has given us the Spirit as a guarantee. 6 So we are always confident, knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord. 7 For we walk by faith, not by sight. 8 We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord. 9 Therefore we make it our aim, whether present or absent, to be well pleasing to Him. 10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad. 11 Knowing, therefore, the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are well known to God, and I also trust are well known in your consciences. 12 For we do not commend ourselves again to you, but give you opportunity to boast on our behalf, that you may have an answer for those who boast in appearance and not in heart.
Mark 11:22 So Jesus answered and said to them, "Have faith in God.
Galatians 2:20 "I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.
Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
Galatians 3:22 But the Scripture has confined all under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.
Galatians 5:5 For we through the Spirit eagerly wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.
