A YEAR IN PRAYER    "Using God's Word to pray"

Are you persevering in your walk with Christ according to the truth of God’s Word?

Are your convictions firmly planted on the ground of biblical truth and will you hold unto them until the end?

Have you tasted the truth but preferred the taste of lies and errors of false religions?

DAY # 272

TODAY’S REQUEST:

PRAYING FOR PERSEVERANCE

Romans 5:3 And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; 4 and perseverance, character; and character, hope.
Revelation 3:10 "Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.
2 Timothy 3:10 But you have carefully followed my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, love, perseverance,
James 5:11 Indeed we count them blessed who endure. You have heard of the perseverance of Job and seen the end intended by the Lord - that the Lord is very compassionate and merciful.
Hebrews 6:11 And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end,

HOW DO THE SCRIPTURES TELL US TO EXPRESS THIS REQUEST?

INCESSANTLY

Luke 18:1-8 Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart, 2 saying: "There was in a certain city a judge who did not fear God nor regard man. 3 "Now there was a widow in that city; and she came to him, saying, ‘Get justice for me from my adversary.’ 4 "And he would not for a while; but afterward he said within himself, ‘Though I do not fear God nor regard man, 5 ‘yet because this widow troubles me I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.’" 6 Then the Lord said, "Hear what the unjust judge said. 7 "And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? 8 "I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?"
Revelation 2: 1-4 "To the angel of the church of Ephesus write, ‘These things says He who holds the seven stars in His right hand, who walks in the midst of the seven golden lampstands: 2 "I know your works, your labor, your patience, and that you cannot bear those who are evil. And you have tested those who say they are apostles and are not, and have found them liars; 3 "and you have persevered and have patience, and have labored for My name’s sake and have not become weary. 4 "Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love.
Revelation 2:26 "And he who overcomes, and keeps My works until the end, to him I will give power over the nations–
