A YEAR IN PRAYER    "Using God's Word to pray"

Are you a sheep in Christ pasture?

Do you hear and pay attention to the voice of the Good Shepherd?

Does your life reflect your obedience to Christ as a sheep, or your rebellion as a goat?

DAY # 28

TODAY’S REQUEST:

TRUSTING IN GOD - OUR LORD JESUS SAID:

" I AM THE GOOD SHEPHERD "

Numbers 27:17 "who may go out before them and go in before them, who may lead them out and bring them in, that the congregation of the LORD may not be like sheep which have no shepherd."
Psalms 80:1 Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, You who lead Joseph like a flock; You who dwell between the cherubim, shine forth!
Matthew 9:36 But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd.
Matthew 25:32 "All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats.
1 Peter 2:25 For you were like sheep going astray, but have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.
1 Peter 5:4 and when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that does not fade away.
Revelation 7:17 "for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes."

HOW DO THE SCRIPTURES TELL US TO EXPRESS THIS REQUEST?

TOTALLY DEPENDING ON THE GOOD SHEPHERD

Psalms 23:1 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
John 10:11 "I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep.
John 10:14 "I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own.
John 10:16 "And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd.
Hebrews 13: 20 Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, 21 make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.
