A YEAR IN PRAYER    "Using God's Word to pray"

Have you been covering your sins, or have you asked Christ to cover them when you repented and placed your faith in Him?

What can we say of people in this generation who uncover their most abominable sins as a sign of rejection of the sin covering of Christ?

Which sinners will get to enter the kingdom of God? Only those whose sins are covered by Christ!

DAY # 250

TODAY’S REQUEST:

PRAISING THE LORD: FOR HE HAS COVERED OUR SINS

Psalms 85:2 You have forgiven the iniquity of Your people; You have covered all their sin.
Psalms 79:9 Help us, O God of our salvation, For the glory of Your name; And deliver us, and provide atonement for our sins, For Your name’s sake!
Micah 7:19 He will again have compassion on us, And will subdue our iniquities. You will cast all our sins Into the depths of the sea.
Revelation 1: 3-7 Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near. 4 John, to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace to you and peace from Him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven Spirits who are before His throne, 5 and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, 6 and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. 7 Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.

HOW DO THE SCRIPTURES TELL US TO EXPRESS THIS REQUEST?

CHRIST WASHED US FROM OUR SINS IN HIS OWN BLOOD

Psalms 32:1 Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, Whose sin is covered.
Hebrews 1:3 who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,
1 Peter 2:21-24 For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps: 22 "Who committed no sin, Nor was deceit found in His mouth"; 23 who, when He was reviled, did not revile in return; when He suffered, He did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously; 24 who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness––by whose stripes you were healed.
1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
