A YEAR IN PRAYER    "Using God's Word to pray"

Do your mind and heart lean on the side of malice and lies or on sincerity and truth?

Do you stand on sincere faith in Christ, live with a good conscience, and love from a pure heart?

Do you attempt to hide things from God and lie often to men?

DAY # 240

TODAY’S REQUEST:

FOR A HEART THAT IS SINCERE WITH GOD AND WITH MEN

Deuteronomy 6:5 "You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.
Joshua 24:14 "Now therefore, fear the LORD, serve Him in sincerity and in truth, and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the River and in Egypt. Serve the LORD!
Proverbs 12:19 The truthful lip shall be established forever, But a lying tongue is but for a moment.
Philippians 1: 9-11 And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment, 10 that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ, 11 being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.
1 Timothy 1:5 Now the purpose of the commandment is love from a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from sincere faith,
1 Peter 1:22 Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart,
Ephesians 6:24 Grace be with all those who love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen.
Colossians 3:22 Bondservants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh, not with eyeservice, as men–pleasers, but in sincerity of heart, fearing God.

HOW DO THE SCRIPTURES TELL US TO EXPRESS THIS REQUEST?

FILLED WITH CHRIST’S FRUITS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS TO THE GLORY OF GOD

1 Corinthians 5:8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
2 Corinthians 1:12 For our boasting is this: the testimony of our conscience that we conducted ourselves in the world in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom but by the grace of God, and more abundantly toward you.
Mark 12:30 ‘And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment. 31 "And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these." 32 So the scribe said to Him, "Well said, Teacher. You have spoken the truth, for there is one God, and there is no other but He. 33 "And to love Him with all the heart, with all the understanding, with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love one’s neighbor as oneself, is more than all the whole burnt offerings and sacrifices." 34 Now when Jesus saw that he answered wisely, He said to him, "You are not far from the kingdom of God." But after that no one dared question Him.
