A YEAR IN PRAYER    "Using God's Word to pray"

Can God tolerate and partake in the lies, deceptions and fabrications of false religions?

Would God allow Satan and his followers to deceive and mislead believers in Christ?

Are you seeking the truth in God’s Word and speaking the truth before God?

Did you know the Bible states that all liars are children of the devil, and that none will enter the kingdom of God?

DAY # 24

TODAY’S REQUEST:

LORD, REMOVE FROM ME THE WAY OF LYING -

I WANT TO CHOOSE THE WAY OF TRUTH

Proverbs 6:16-19 These six things the LORD hates, Yes, seven are an abomination to Him: 17 A proud look, A lying tongue, Hands that shed innocent blood, 18 A heart that devises wicked plans, Feet that are swift in running to evil, 19 A false witness who speaks lies, And one who sows discord among brethren.

Psalms 58:3 The wicked are estranged from the womb; They go astray as soon as they are born, speaking lies.

Psalms 63:11 But the king shall rejoice in God; Everyone who swears by Him shall glory; But the mouth of those who speak lies shall be stopped.

Jeremiah 9:5 Everyone will deceive his neighbor, And will not speak the truth; They have taught their tongue to speak lies; They weary themselves to commit iniquity.

Jeremiah 14:14 And the LORD said to me, "The prophets prophesy lies in My name. I have not sent them, commanded them, nor spoken to them; they prophesy to you a false vision, divination, a worthless thing, and the deceit of their heart.

Zechariah 8:16 These are the things you shall do: Speak each man the truth to his neighbor; Give judgment in your gates for truth, justice, and peace;

HOW DO THE SCRIPTURES TELL US TO EXPRESS THIS REQUEST?

THE TRUTH COMES OUT OF A SINCERE HEART

Psalms 119:29 Remove from me the way of lying, And grant me Your law graciously.

Psalms 119:30 I have chosen the way of truth; Your judgments I have laid before me.

Psalms 40:4 Blessed is that man who makes the LORD his trust, And does not respect the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.

Psalms 15:1 LORD, who may abide in Your tabernacle? Who may dwell in Your holy hill? 2 He who walks uprightly, And works righteousness, And speaks the truth in his heart;

1 Corinthians 13: 4-7 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
