A YEAR IN PRAYER    "Using God's Word to pray"

Have you been brought low before the Lord through repentance, or do you stand tall with so-called self-esteem and pride, trusting in your own justice?

Do you walk with a chip on your shoulder and a proud look on your face?

Do you bow incessantly before the Lord for who He is, and for what you are not?

DAY # 72

TODAY’S REQUEST:

PRAISING AND GIVING THANKS TO GOD:

FOR THE LORD UPHOLDS ALL WHO FALL, AND RAISES UP ALL WHO ARE BOWED DOWN

Psalms 37:17 For the arms of the wicked shall be broken, But the LORD upholds the righteous.

Job 4:4 Your words have upheld him who was stumbling, And you have strengthened the feeble knees;

Psalms 71:6 By You I have been upheld from birth; You are He who took me out of my mother’s womb. My praise shall be continually of You.

Isaiah 2:11 The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, The haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, And the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day. 12 For the day of the LORD of hosts Shall come upon everything proud and lofty, Upon everything lifted up—And it shall be brought low—

Isaiah 2:17 The loftiness of man shall be bowed down, And the haughtiness of men shall be brought low; The LORD alone will be exalted in that day,

Isaiah 5:15 People shall be brought down, Each man shall be humbled, And the eyes of the lofty shall be humbled.

Isaiah 10:33 Behold, the Lord, The LORD of hosts, Will lop off the bough with terror; Those of high stature will be hewn down, And the haughty will be humbled.
