A YEAR IN PRAYER    "Using God's Word to pray"

Can God’s intervention ever be in disagreement with is law, His nature, His holiness, and His justice?

Do you call on the Lord to intervene on your behalf in need, in fear, and/or in danger?

Do you also call on the Lord to intervene in your battle against sin?

DAY # 69

TODAY’S REQUEST:

FOR CONFIDENCE IN DIVINE INTERVENTION

Philippians 1: 3-6 I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, 4 always in every prayer of mine making request for you all with joy, 5 for your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now, 6 being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;

2 Thessalonians 3:4 And we have confidence in the Lord concerning you, both that you do and will do the things we command you.

1 John 2:28 And now, little children, abide in Him, that when He appears, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him at His coming.

Genesis 22:14 And Abraham called the name of the place, The-LORD-Will-Provide; as it is said to this day, "In the Mount of The LORD it shall be provided."

Matthew 11:28 "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Psalms 68:35 O God, You are more awesome than Your holy places. The God of Israel is He who gives strength and power to His people. Blessed be God!

HOW DO THE SCRIPTURES TELL US TO EXPRESS THIS REQUEST?

DESIRING ONLY WHAT THE LORD PROVIDES

Psalms 27:3 Though an army may encamp against me, My heart shall not fear; Though war should rise against me, In this I will be confident.

1 John 3:21 Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward God.

1 John 5:14 Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.

Psalms 60:11 Give us help from trouble, For the help of man is useless.

Matthew 7:9 "Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10 "Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent? 11 "If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!
