A YEAR IN PRAYER    "Using God's Word to pray"

Where in today’s world can we find just things on which to meditate?

Do you know that only God is just, only Jesus displays God’s justice and only the Bible is the perfect revelation of God’s justice?

Are you spending your time watching, listening to, and talking of the unjust things of this world instead of meditating on God’s Word?

DAY # 68

TODAY’S REQUEST:

TO MEDITATE ON WHATEVER THINGS ARE JUST

Psalms 119:15 I will meditate on Your precepts, And contemplate Your ways.

Psalms 119:27 Make me understand the way of Your precepts; So shall I meditate on Your wondrous works.

Psalms 143:5 I remember the days of old; I meditate on all Your works; I muse on the work of Your hands.

Psalms 145:5 I will meditate on the glorious splendor of Your majesty, And on Your wondrous works.

Malachi 3:16 Then those who feared the LORD spoke to one another, And the LORD listened and heard them; So a book of remembrance was written before Him For those who fear the LORD And who meditate on His name.

1 John 2:6 He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.

1 John 3:3 And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.

Psalms 119:23 Princes also sit and speak against me, But Your servant meditates on Your statutes.

HOW DO THE SCRIPTURES TELL US TO EXPRESS THIS REQUEST?

CLOSING THE GATES OF OUR MIND TO EVERYTHING UNJUST

Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy——meditate on these things.

1 Timothy 4:15 Meditate on these things; give yourself entirely to them, that your progress may be evident to all. Psalms 119:48 My hands also I will lift up to Your commandments, Which I love, And I will meditate on Your statutes.

Psalms 119:78 Let the proud be ashamed, For they treated me wrongfully with falsehood; But I will meditate on Your precepts.

Psalms 119:148 My eyes are awake through the night watches, That I may meditate on Your word.
