A YEAR IN PRAYER    "Using God's Word to pray"

Through what means are you attempting to enter the kingdom of God?

Do you know that only those who seek the righteousness of Christ will enter the kingdom of God?

Are you living to fulfill your dreams on earth or to enter God’s kingdom in eternity?

DAY # 52

TODAY’S REQUEST:

TO SEEK FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS

Luke 1:67-75 Now his father Zacharias was filled with the Holy Spirit, and prophesied, saying: 68 "Blessed is the Lord God of Israel, For He has visited and redeemed His people, 69 And has raised up a horn of salvation for us In the house of His servant David, 70 As He spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets, Who have been since the world began, 71 That we should be saved from our enemies And from the hand of all who hate us, 72 To perform the mercy promised to our fathers And to remember His holy covenant, 73 The oath which He swore to our father Abraham: 74 To grant us that we, Being delivered from the hand of our enemies, Might serve Him without fear, 75 In holiness and righteousness before Him all the days of our life.

Mark 10:23 Then Jesus looked around and said to His disciples, "How hard it is for those who have riches to enter the kingdom of God!"

Mark 12:34 Now when Jesus saw that he answered wisely, He said to him, "You are not far from the kingdom of God." But after that no one dared question Him.

HOW DO THE SCRIPTURES TELL US TO EXPRESS THIS REQUEST?

RECEIVING THE KINGDOM OF GOD AS A LITTLE CHILD

Psalms 119:123 My eyes fail from seeking Your salvation And Your righteous word.

Matthew 6: 31-34 "Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 "For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. 34 "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

Luke 12:31 "But seek the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added to you.

Mark 1:14 Now after John was put in prison, Jesus came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, 15 and saying, "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel."

Mark 10:15 "Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it."
