A YEAR IN PRAYER    "Using God's Word to pray"

Have you acquired the nature of God and the mind of Christ through the new birth? If so, are you living consistently in accordance with the word of God?

How can someone persevere in the faith without knowing and obeying the Word of God, the teachings of Jesus?

Are you persevering in godly living after having been adopted as a child of God?

(Do not deceive yourself)

DAY # 51

TODAY’S REQUEST:

PRAYING FOR PERSEVERANCE

Romans 8:25 But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.

2 Timothy 3:10 But you have carefully followed my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, love, perseverance,

James 5:11 Indeed we count them blessed who endure. You have heard of the perseverance of Job and seen the end intended by the Lord——that the Lord is very compassionate and merciful.

Revelation 3:10 "Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.

James 5:11 Indeed we count them blessed who endure. You have heard of the perseverance of Job and seen the end intended by the Lord - that the Lord is very compassionate and merciful.

Revelation 2:26 "And he who overcomes, and keeps My works until the end, to him I will give power over the nations

Hebrews 6:11 And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end,

HOW DO THE SCRIPTURES TELL US TO EXPRESS THIS REQUEST?

STANDING FIRM ON THE PROMISES OF GOD

Romans 5:3 And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; 4 and perseverance, character; and character, hope.

Ephesians 6:18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints——

2 Peter 1:5-9 But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, 6 to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, 7 to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love. 8 For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 For he who lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins.
